PLAN TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT

Remember in planning entertainment at the hoots, we are all one family come together to celebrate!  While we support one another from all over the diocese, let us keep focused on our unity in Christ and celebrate our school spirit at other more appropriate events.

My Dearest Family of #171,

How wonderful was our time together!  Christ was truly with and in each of you, I could literally see Him.  So many things on our weekend were His doing and no other’s.  He changed a musician to a Superwheat and sent us outstanding musicians.  He changed a wheatie from a resource and a resource to a wheatie.  He fabricated a joy-filled magic bus ride which could only have happened because of the freedom we experienced by “letting go” of what chained us on Die Day.  He rearranged the schedule just enough to meet everyone’s needs and yet swept through that conference room/chapel with a gentleness that I can feel in my heart this very minute.

Jesus is truly in and with us.  He was that weekend and He wants to walk with us every minute of every day if we but let Him and become conscious of Him.  He will carry our burdens and comfort and delight us.  He is the most wonderful, awesome companion we could ever encounter but we must give Him our time, energy and our hearts.  We must listen and speak and read His message in Schripture and holy writings.  Whenever we need a physical hand to hold or a voice to hear, He sends us one another.  Our call is to be there for one another, to be “strength for the journey” for each other.   That’s what church and the TEC family is all about.

I am so very thankful you all came to encounter Christ.  We have all benefited from the openness and honest giving of self which was experienced.  We can only strive to live each day with that same trust and intensity.

Please know that you are part of a much larger family.  One that constantly reaches out to you and calls you to serve one another as Christ serves.  Come spend the time, spend the effort and baste in the joy Jesus has for us.  What a mighty, awesome, kickin’ God we serve!  May we continue our walk to heaven in the presence of one another and our loving Lord, Jesus.  I love you and look forward to may good times together.

Peace in our loving God,  Pam Whitney, Director #171

TEC RECRUITMENT PROGRAM

Are you interested in sharing the message of TEC with new people?   Are you game to share the Gospel of Jesus?

The Youth Ministry office of the diocese has asked the TEC community to provide a youth experience for parish youth groups.  Arnold Brucks has put together a program lasting about 2 hours in which TECites may facilitate this program and also talk about their TEC experience.

BUT WE NEED YOU!  Our goal is to have enough youth and adults volunteer so you might be called only a couple times a year to facilitate this program.  Parishes would schedule through the Youth Ministry office and we would provide an evening or Sunday afternoon experience.

CURIOUS TO KNOW MORE?  Great!  Please contact Arnold Brucks, 132 Co Rd 334B, New Franklin, MO  65274 or call him at (660)848-2943

The need is great and it is a wonderful opportunity to promote TEC!   Contact Arnold today!
