WHY CHANGE THE REUNION SCHEDULE ON SUNDAY….

· To accommodate those growling tummies between the Liturgy and the hoot.
· Bring “sack lunch” .. don’t leave the grounds. Sometime the schedule can be bumped up at the last minute and we don’t want to start the hoot without you!
· JUST REMEMBER, it’s not cool to bring food into the church (I knew you knew that!)

You did a FANTASTIC job at the June hoot in Sedalia! Everyone had a grand time! Let’s repeat it for July “on the hill”.

Specifics for hoot in Hannibal:

· Hoot will be held outdoors on the soccer field.
· Bring a blanket to sit on or a lawn chair.
· Consider bug spray, just in case.
· Remember Mass is at the Parish downtown, we will drive to the seminary together. Parents will be allowed to park at seminary, be prepared to park in a parking lot two blocks down the hill, you’ll be given directions at the church as to where to park.

IF YOU WANT TO CARPOOL:

With 26 candidates signed up, we need to get LOTS of people (you young TECites particularly) to the hoot! If you live in the Jefferson City area, we are meeting at the LOWER PARKING LOT OFF HIGH STREET OF ST. PETER’S PARISH AT 1:45 PM. It is roughly a 2 hour drive to Hannibal. Adults, please consider meeting here as well. It is customary to offer the driver a couple bucks each to cover gas.

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM COLUMBIA:

Contact Paula Sanning (573/395-4589) and we will make arrangements for someone to stop at the Kingdom City McDonalds at about 2:30 PM.

All TECites are invited to attend the TEC Council meetings .. we need youth and the young at heart! The next meeting will be Friday, August 3rd at 7:15 pm in the meeting room at the I.C. rectory in Jeff City. Enter through the back door and take a right down the stairs. Hope to see many of you there!

WE NEED YOUTH AND ADULTS TO COMPLETE THESE FORMS!!!

Currently our center allows each director to put together the team for each weekend. It is an undaunting task when we have only a few request to serves to start with. A director can spend literally hundreds of dollars in phone calls trying to put a team together.

As a community we can alleviate this burden by completing a request to serve. ADULTS AS WELL AS YOUTH! I have heard adults say they would serve if called, well, CONSIDER THIS YOUR CALL!

Ideally, a director should begin putting together a team at least 2-1/2 months in advance of the TEC. This leaves the last month to schedule team meetings. The November TEC director will begin this process in about a month .. and the pickings are slim when you come to the small amount of requests we currently have on hand.

Please fill out this request and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you. If you are not sure of the dates, put any and see what the Spirit allows to happen. EACH OF YOU ARE NEEDED AND ARE EMPOWERED BY THE SPIRIT TO SERVE ON TEC!!

Be sure to include an email address, current phone and perhaps an alternate phone (college students .. school number and parents number).
